Women & Child Welfare
This project is dedicated to empowering women and protecting the rights of children from underserved communities. Many women in these areas face limited access to education, healthcare, and income opportunities, while children often lack proper nutrition and schooling.
Feha works to break this cycle by providing skill development training, health awareness sessions, and educational support for children. We partner with local self-help groups and schools to ensure every woman and child has the tools they need to build a brighter future.
Challenge & Solution
Women in this community had very few avenues for earning a stable income and were often excluded from decisions affecting their families. Children, especially girls, were frequently pulled out of school to help at home. Feha responded by setting up tailoring and handicraft training centers for women, along with evening learning centers and mid-day meal programs for children.
Final Result
Today, more than 150 women have completed skill-training programs and are earning a steady income through self-employment or group enterprises. School enrollment among girls has risen significantly, and child nutrition levels have improved across the community. Families report greater confidence and hope for the future.
